9 Needed Changes In Diablo 4

9 Needed Changes In Diablo 4

Diablo 4, the latest work in the Diablo series, has added many new mechanisms and made many changes. The game has been around for a while now, and while players have praised these new game mechanics, there are still areas where the game could improve. The following article will introduce you to 9 needed changes in Diablo 4.

1. Marking Items to Save

The current system allows players to mark Diablo 4 items as junk for salvaging, but there's no option to mark items to save. This means that when players salvage all items, valuable items can be destroyed. The game needs a system to mark items to save, preventing accidental loss of useful gear.

2. Refunding Paragon Points

While some players have requested a refund-all button for Paragon points, a more nuanced approach would be to have a refund button for each Paragon board square. This would allow players to adjust their builds without refunding all their points.

3. Expanding the Wardrobe System

The current Wardrobe system is robust but could be improved by allowing players to attach Armory outfits. This would make it easier for players to switch between different builds without changing their gear and skills each time.

4. Improving Whispers Rewards

The rewards from the Whispers tree should be buffed, and players should be able to select the next region they want to target after completing a Whisper. This would allow players to focus on areas where they want to complete dungeons or earn Renown.

5. Making Blue Side Missions Discoverable

Blue side missions should be discoverable on the map once players have encountered them. This would save players the trouble of remembering where they saw a mission or using external resources to find missed missions.

6. Increasing Stash Inventory and Adding a Search Function

Players need more stash inventory space and a search function to find specific items easily. This would improve the game's item management system.

7. Buffing Chest Experience Rewards

The experience rewards from chests should be increased. The rewards feel underwhelming compared to the effort required to find and open the chests.

8. Improving the Oboe Trader

The Oboe Trader should offer unique items or whispering keys that can open chests with a chance of dropping unique items. This would incentivize players to use the Oboe Trader and make the whispering keys feel more valuable.

9. Buffing Treasure Goblins

Treasure Goblins should drop better loot. Currently, players often kill Treasure Goblins more for fun than for the loot they drop.

While Diablo 4 has made significant strides in the ARPG genre, these nine changes could enhance the player experience. By addressing these issues, Blizzard Entertainment could make Diablo 4 an even more engaging and rewarding game for its dedicated fanbase. As the game evolves, we look forward to seeing how the developers respond to player feedback and continue improving this much-loved series.
