GGG reveals the development of Path of Exile

In a recent forum post by the "Path of Exile" team, Grinding Gear Games discussed the next extension and how its development differs from previous ones. This article outlines the challenges the team experienced and continues to challenge them as they plan to release the next extended version in December. If you are a player on Path of Exile, you can purchase POE Currency to increase your strength.

This article provides a detailed overview of some of the initial concerns of the team during the game’s early development cycle, which have surpassed the unsustainable path in the post-pandemic world for the foreseeable future. The fragility of their development cycle indicates the weakness of the team, including the overall development scope, functional changes and common accidents they may have never seen. These weaknesses now cause the team to refactor their development process to make it more flexible and potentially fruitful.

Gearing Gear Games stated:

At the end of Heist's development cycle, we had serious internal discussions on how to reorganize our development process to reduce the risk of subsequent expansion. After discussion, we decided to conduct a three-month cycle. An experiment . We defined a very specific scope for the December 3.13 expansion. It contains everything needed for a large "Path of Exile" expansion, nothing more. If you are interested, this is the Atlas expansion (such as War or Conquerors), which has The fighting alliance in the area and other fragmentary content.

Their overall goal is to reduce development time while providing the required goals. Heist was released last month and has since made some necessary changes and improvements. Compared to what we saw on Heist, it will be very interesting to observe how the next extended development cycle will change.
